The Shell-McKinsey Paper
Yesterday I found a usb-stick in the central line. Happy about my new 8GB hardware I plugged it into my computer and checked the files. There were several Excel files with tons of data and tables which did not make any sense to me. The only thing I realised was that these business files are about energy.
And there was one other document.
A word file. A lot more comprehensible. Title: "Shell's New Human Energy Futures, Strategic Paper" obviously written by a certain. M. Schmitz of the McKinsey consulting Firm. I checked the client names: Lynda Cook and Peter Voser. I learned from Google that Peter Voser is actually the CEO of Shell!!! Holly Banana!!!
I read the whole document and I thought it's worth sharing what Shell is up to. I couldn't believe it!! Just to name you a few words:
"crowd-sourced energy production"
"listening to and engaging with communities"
"Shell joins western civilisation in abandoning its dependency on oil."
"producing the energy locally"
"organic exhaust is energy"
"advanced biofuels from livestock exhale/burp and human flatulence" (!!!)
but read it yourself:
